Open the fold like a book and let the paper scene rise from the page.
Open the phone and the paper pieces rise one after another until the scene is complete. Close it and they lie back down. Pieces further back stand up later, so the page opens the way a real pop-up does.
Three tales are included. The Garden — a tree, a house and one small star — is free, always. The Sea rises into waves as you open, and in The Night the stars come up one at a time. The Sea and The Night can be opened with a single purchase in Settings.
You can also make a book of your own. Place pictures and words, decide how far back each one stands, and read it straight away. A page can be recorded as a video of up to fifteen seconds. Recording always goes through a confirmation screen first, the microphone is off but sound from this app may be included, and you watch the video yourself before deciding whether to share it.
On a phone that does not fold, a slider stands the scene up instead. Everything works the same way.
Open and close gently — nothing here is scored on speed. The free version may show ads between activities when advertising is configured. You can choose to watch an ad to try a locked tale. A single purchase opens all three tales and removes future ads.
