TalkAside records short meetings and transcribes supported speech on the device. Add timestamped notes and tap speech or a note time to hear that part again. Keep up to five meetings, with recordings up to twenty minutes each.
Export the transcript and notes as Markdown when you choose. Speech language availability follows supported system languages; Apple speech assets may need downloading. Recording is foreground-only and stops on interruptions.
On a non-folding iPhone, switch between transcript and notes tabs. There are no ads, accounts, cloud summaries or in-app purchases.
